My mom, Virginia, was the youngest of the Berkey family from south Minneapolis. She and my aunts and uncles would often talk about their good friends the Bezats who were neighbors to the Berkey hobby farm on 60th and Nicollet. Mom said she played with Sanco and Ackie (I know the spellings are wrong so I apologize). She talked of Athena, Marie and Gus.
The families would gather every fall for a sarme feast which the Berkey descendants still do to this day (coming up this Saturday).
